'Phoebe and Bells'I utilized a variety of mediums in this piece. Hammered silver plated copper supports this tiny 2x2 inch watercolor of 'Phoebe and Bells', a couple of characters that I am visualizing as a watercolor comic in the very near future.
The pendant is a plexiglass square that houses the watercolor inside. The frame was hand-shaped from clay and decorated with silver ink. A gloss protects the ink from fading. 'Phoebe and Bells' are inspired by my earliest childhood friends. Phoebe, 6 at that time, was my senior in all things fun and whimsical. |
